Cher was sitting on the couch at home.
Home? Was really she in Malibu? In her living room?
Cher opened her eyes slowly and looked around.
Yeah .. that was her home. That was her couch ... and those were the flowers that Luke had sent long ago.
-Luke? -
Cher stood up from the couch, looking around. Then she noticed a piece of paper on the table.
-Cher, I do not know if we'll meet again. You'll soon have news of me. Good luck. -
What did it mean? Where was Luke?
The first night they made love for the last time.

She had just entered and was holding some papers.

He opened the shower.
He had pushed the woman against the wall and she had slipped against the tiles. She had no more strength. she had no more desire to do anything.

The water was wetting the hair, and made her skin softer. Dirt and blood soon slipped away, as well as the tears of Cher.
The man looked into her eyes, before kissing her gently on the mouth.

Excuse him? How could she forgive the man who had kidnapped and raped? How could she love a man like that?

What Luke had done was unforgivable, but she knew that night would be just the beginning of a series of rapes.
He would have continued to abuse her ... maybe for hours, for days ... maybe for months.
She felt upset stomach, and ran to the bathroom to vomit.
She vomited the soul too. She gave vent to all the abuses suffered.
Then she wiped and flushed the toilet.
She opened the bathroom door, and stepped timidly.

The show was ened. Fans were still etched in the woman's head .
She was in the dressing room and she was changing. Pauli would have reached her the next day.
She was sitting on the chair , and looking at her foot. Despite the operation and the continuos pain that was alleviated by painkillers, she still felt a bit crap .
That day she felt worse. But she hadn't said anything to anyone. She had always been strong , and in her life she had passed most important challenges that a little foot pain would certainly could'nt stop her! .
She looked in the mirror carefully .
Time had changed her. Although she remained eternally young , she felt changed. Wiser ... or maybe just older.
Her long and black hair and were still fantastic, as well as her face.
Sure...of course ... a few wrinkles here and there ... but she was wonderful .
Cher sighed . The light was dim .
Then she heard a knock at the door, and someone came quietly .
Cher turned slowly to see who it was.
Her face lit up and she smiled.
- Joe ... -s he said smugly .
- I wanted to compliment you for this evening. You've been fantastic .. -
The boy kissed her on the cheek and patted her hand.
She stood up , and motioned for Joe to follow her on the sofa .
- Thank you. Very kind of you . - Cher licked his lips
Joe smiled and crossed his arms.
- Are you feeling better ? -
The woman looked at him quizzically.
- Better ? In what sense? -
Joe shook his head.

Cher was shaking in her sleep.
"The moon shone already in the sky, and the stars seemed to dance when cher stepped through the door of the nightclub.
Luke Grey: this was the name dell'amiratore, who had sent those beautiful red roses along with his civic address and telephone number.
Cher looked around a little confused, then she saw a boy she gestured her to come. she smiled and then he licked his lips as usual when she was nervous.
He walked slowly to the table.

She smiled.

Then finally the door opened, and the light shone on her face.
She had been crying, because her eyes were all smudged of pencil.
A man approached the woman, and she trembled with fear.

The man took the woman in the arms, even if this squirming like crazy.
He stroked her face.

Had recently touched down on American soil again, and by car was driving home.

She had turned on the radio and was listening to an old Madonna song.
The road was unpaved, and the curves were very steep. She turned on the headlights of the car and looked around a bit.
That road through the desert was always empty. She looked in the rearview mirror of the car to see if there was any car behind her.
A black car, old model, but definitely very fast.
She had seen such a car, although could not quite remember to whom it belonged.

Then all of a sudden she braked suddenly....
