Tess awoke in the middle of the night.
She had made a nightmare.
Marcus next to her, slept peacefully.
Tess sighed.

Flash back
It was at her house, and Vince was with her. They were discussing.

The man spun around.
He heard the sound of high heels.

The woman appeared as if by magic before man.

Marcus entrò nell'ufficio della donna.
-Hei...-
Lei non rispose.
-Stai bene adesso? Ho visto Sean scendere le scale...così ho pensato che aveste finito di parlare...-
Tess guardò il pavimento.
-Stai tranquillo..è tutto a posto.-
-In che senso?-
-Ho parlato con Sean...e lui...beh..insomma,non che approvi quello che è successo tra di noi,ma almeno non ha tentato di uccidermi come ha fatto Vince.-
Gaber annuì.
-E che cosa hai intenzione di fare adesso?.-
Tess lo guardò.
-In che senso scusa?-
-Intendo dire...Vuoi andare a parlare con lui e cercare di farlo riflettere, oppure...-
Marcus venne interrotto.
-Beh...sono veramente molto stanca. Credo che non farò più niente questa sera. Dopo quello che mi è successo,ho voglia solo di riposarmi.-
Marcus si sedette sul divano e Tess si sedette sulle gambe dell'uomo.
-Mi dispiace se la nostra serata non è andata come speravamo. Lo so...tu hai fatto di tutto per eliminare i tuoi impegni lavorativi e io...-
Marcus le tappò la bocca,delicatamente con due dita.
-Non è colpa tua Tess...Non potevi immaginare una reazione tanto incontrollata da parte del tuo ex marito!-
I due si avvicinarono ancora di più,e Gaber baciò prima con delicatezza, poi con passione la donna tanto desiderata.
Si staccarono dopo quasi un minuto. Tess si lecco le labbra.
-Ti fa ancora male il collo?-
chiese Marcus toccandolo leggermente con le mani.
-Ah! Mi fai male!-rispose lei,indolenzita.
-Non ti preoccupare,conosco un metodo per fartelo passare...-rispose lui,accarezzando il volto di Tess.
-Dici davvero?-
-Si...ma...dobbiamo stare più comodi. Possibilmente in un letto con le lenzuola di seta azzurre...-
Tess gli diede uno spintone.
I due risero a lungo.
Era da tempo che un uomo, a parte Sean non la faceva ridere così tanto.
L'uomo si avvicinò all'orecchio della donna.
-Per me va bene anche qui,...basta che metti la chiave alla tua porta...-
Tess lo guardò meraviglia.
-NO! ah ah..meglio non rischiare!-
Tess si alzò e si mise a posto il vestito.
-Aspettami in macchina.-gli disse ,baciandolo ancora una volta sulle labbra.
FlashBack.

-Ciao Tess...-
Jack era lì,accanto a lei .
-Jack...pensavo che ...fossi già a casa con Ali.-
La donna si voltò verso il ragazzo,accennando un mezzo sorriso.
-Ho bisogno di aiuto.-
arrivò subito al punto.
-Se si tratta delle fornitur...
